Appel\u00e9 parfois citrouille, le potiron est rond, c\u00f4tel\u00e9 et aplati aux deux p\u00f4les. Il a une \u00e9corce tr\u00e8s dure; selon les vari\u00e9t\u00e9s celle-ci peut \u00eatre jaune, orange ou verte.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload size-medium wp-image-1163 alignright\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27300%27%20height%3D%27200%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20300%20200%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27300%27%20height%3D%27200%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"http:\/\/xn--sentier-vitalit-pnb.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/courge-potiron-coup\u00e9-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"courge-potiron-coupe\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-blogger-escaped-style=\"text-align: center;\">Cette cucurbitac\u00e9e \u00e0 la saveur douce et fine est extr\u00eamement riche en carot\u00e9no\u00efdes, lut\u00e9ine et z\u00e9axanthine. Ces antioxydants aident \u00e0 lutter contre le cancer, \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir des maladies cardio-vasculaire et prot\u00e8gent de la d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence maculaire de la r\u00e9tine li\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge (DMLA). Le potiron contient \u00e9galement de nombreuses vitamines (A, B1, B2, B3, C) et min\u00e9raux (phosphore, magn\u00e9sium, potassium). Peu calorique, il est toutefois assez nourrissant et riche en nutriments. Il fait partie de ces aliments alcalinisants favorables aux\u00a0terrains acidifi\u00e9s (arthrose, calculs r\u00e9naux, caries, ongles cassants &#8230;).<\/p>\n<p data-blogger-escaped-style=\"text-align: center;\">Ne confondez pas le potiron avec sa cousine la citrouille qui elle est plus ronde, de couleur orang\u00e9e et dont la chair plus filandreuse \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9moustille\u00a0\u00bb nettement moins vos papilles! C&rsquo;est d&rsquo;ailleurs la citrouille que l&rsquo;on utilise pour \u00e9gailler nos maisons et en d\u00e9coration pour Halloween.<\/p>\n<p data-blogger-escaped-style=\"text-align: center;\">Pour les diff\u00e9rencier\u00a0on se fie au p\u00e9doncule : celui du potiron est tendre, spongieux, cylindrique et \u00e9vas\u00e9 pr\u00e8s du fruit ; tandis que celui de la citrouille est dur et fibreux avec 5 c\u00f4tes anguleuses.<\/p>\n<p data-blogger-escaped-style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00; text-decoration: underline;\">C\u00f4t\u00e9 cuisine:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>Il convient parfaitement pour les soupes d&rsquo;hiver, \u00a0il remplace facilement votre traditionnelle sauce tomate, il es tr\u00e8s doux et \u00e9vite ainsi l&rsquo;acidit\u00e9 de cette derni\u00e8re. Vous pouvez \u00e9galement le faire revenir au wok en y ajoutant du lait de coco, des pois chiche et de la coriandre pour en faire un curry. En le servant avec du riz vous obtenez un sympathique plat v\u00e9g\u00e9tarien. Il contient moins d&rsquo;eau que le potiron, sa chair est plus onctueuse eton retrouve un subtil go\u00fbt de\u00a0ch\u00e2taigne tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able. Sa teneur en vitamines A, C, D, E, est exceptionnelle, il est deux fois plus riche en pro-vitamine A que notre amie la carotte. Coupez le simplement en deux pour retirer les graines et coupez en morceaux. Des \u00e9tudes r\u00e9centes montrent qu\u2019une consommation de 2g\/J diminue la tension et la glyc\u00e9mie chez des personnes atteintes de diab\u00e8te de type2.\u00a0Elle a \u00e9galement un fort pouvoir antibact\u00e9rien, elle serait tr\u00e8s favorable au bon fonctionnement du cerveau en particulier en cas de Parkinson et de maladie d\u2019Alzheimer, elle a des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s anti-inflammatoire &#8230; mais je ne vais pas m&rsquo;\u00e9garer et je vous parlerai des \u00e9pices dans un prochain\u00a0article. Vous pouvez le cuir \u00e0 l&rsquo;avance sinon laissez le un peu refroidir et y ajoutez les autres ingr\u00e9dients. Enfin, donnez un petit coup de plongeur ou mixeur\u00a0pour rendre l&rsquo;appareil onctueux et mousseux. Versez cet appareil sur votre fond de tarte et enfournez pour 45 minutes.
